Thank you for becoming one of the first botlrs in history! We are excited to have just now rolled out the limited release of our social networking site. We have tested the core features amongst a small group of botlrs, but we know as more users enter the picture, many little issues will pop up here and there. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience, and we genuinely appreciate your patience and understanding at this early stage of our development.
In general, for any error message or malfunction you experience, please first try refreshing your browser. Also, please be sure you have the latest edition or version of your browser. We have been using Internet Explorer 9, Chrome, Firefox and Safari with great success. Some of the features require the latest version of Adobe Flash to display correctly.
What shape should my profile picture be to look best in my botls?
Square is best. For example 100 pixels x 100 pixels or 1 inch X 1 inch.
Why won't my image upload?
If your image will not upload, try refreshing your browser or resizing your image. Some images take longer to upload than others due to their size. The optimal width is 464 pixels.
How can I find my friends that are on Botl?
We will be introducing search features to help you find other users and specific botl content in the near future. For now, we recommend that you post one of your botls on your Facebook wall or your friends' Facebook walls or that you email a botl to your friends. After they open the botl, they can then create an account or sign in, and then they can click the Follow button to begin following you. Also, when you find one of your friends, visit their profile page and look at who they follow and who follows them so that you can locate your mutual friends.
How do I change my Username?
That feature is not available at this time, but in the future, we will be offering profile settings related to account information, email notifications and other personal preferences, including the option to change settings such as username and password.
I've lost my password. How do I find it?
Above the sign-in section on the botl.com landing page, there is a prompt "Forgot Password?" Click on that link and enter your email address in the next screen. We will send you a link and instructions to reset your password.
