About BOTL
Botl was conceived late one night while two friends, Don and Angel, were surfing the various social networks.
Angel pondered, "Gee, I wonder if people actually read all this stuff."
Then, BOOM, suddenly out of nowhere, like a lightning bolt of sheer brilliance, Don had a vision: "How cool would it be to have a website where we could create messages, cast them adrift on the Internet and then track them as they traveled around the world?"
"Sort of like that 'message in a bottle' thing where bottles are found 50 years later after traveling thousands of miles," Angel asked.
"Exactly! Then, we could follow our messages and see how many times they're opened, who opens them, and how many miles they travel," added Don.
So, they called on their friends Jerald, Katie and Lou to make it the coolest social networking site in the history of the known world.
Jerald found a home for Botl, made it pretty and figured out how to make it work.
Katie made sure everything was legal -- well, as much as possible.
And Lou wrote a bunch of words that nobody will read because all of you will be too darn busy creating your own botls.
Ladies and Gentlemen, these are the people responsible for the creation of Botl. But enough about us. It's time for you to explore Botl and make your own botls!
